MINESPEC PARTS SUPPORTS SOUTH LOGAN MAGPIES WOMEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE

As most of you may already know, Minespec Parts is one of the major sponsors of the South Logan Magpies Women’s Rugby League. This past Sunday I (Jasmine) travelled up to Brisbane to watch their first game of the season.

It was very entertaining and I felt really proud of the team & proud to be there in support representing Minespec!

The game was Souths vs Burleigh who were top of the table in 2018. Souths was in the lead for majority of the game until Burleigh managed to score again in the last 7 minutes of the game. Final score 16 > 12 win to Burleigh.

This was their first game together as a team and it was really empowering to see women working and playing hard in such a tough sport. Rob Brough is their dedicated and supportive coach who does a fantastic job working with the team. The girls train really hard so I’m sure that after a few more sessions and games together, they’re in for a great season.

Looking forward to continuing to support women in elite categories to reach and exceed their goals!
